The Côtes-d’Armor coastline offers some of Brittany’s most iconic routes. From Perros-Guirec to Ploumanac’h, the Pink Granite Coast features routes that run alongside rock formations sculpted by the ocean, with constant sea views. Further west, towards Paimpol and the island of Bréhat, the routes alternate between ports, cliffs, and small coastal roads. These itineraries are particularly sought after for cycling trips focused on discovery and tourism, with very distinctive landscapes.
Saint-Brieuc opens the way to coastal routes and rolling inland roads. Lannion allows you to radiate directly to the Pink Granite Coast and the maritime landscapes of Trégor. Dinan, further south, offers a different atmosphere with its river valleys and hedgerow-lined roads, ideal for more leisurely outings. These three areas structure the main cycling experiences in the department.
The coastal roads between Perros-Guirec, Ploumanac'h, and Trégastel are among the most spectacular in the Côtes-d'Armor. The routes follow the pink granite rock formations and offer continuous views of the English Channel, with regular passages between beaches, headlands, and small seaside resorts.
The interior of the department offers smoother routes through the Breton countryside. The roads connect villages, chapels and small valleys, with a gentle but constant gradient. It is an ideal area for long, peaceful outings, far from the hustle and bustle of the coast.
